On Sunday September 24 we remembered “the 50’s”. Several 1950’s cars, poodle skirts, buttoned up sweaters, fedoras, t-shirts and jeans and bobby socks were in prevalence on this day. A 50’s luncheon followed the church services, consisting of white bread sandwiches, jellied salads, homemade pickles and a selection of homemade pies.
An enjoyable time was had by all on this very hot and humid Sunday in September.
